The Story Behind The Jenna Way
I started this blog in 2016 as a solo female traveller. Since then, I’ve explored over 40 countries and shared my journey through blogs, photography, and social media. After coming out, I began writing about life and travel as a queer woman, adding LGBTQ+ perspectives alongside destination guides. Then my little guy came along and we added a family travel element too!
Today The Jenna Way combines three pillars:
- Travel: guides, tips, and stories from around the world.
- LGBTQ+ lifestyle: inclusive resources and personal experiences.
- Van Life: our journey into van converting and life on the road.
Wherever you land here, my goal is simple: to inspire you to live fully and authentically.

The Goal Of The Jenna Way
The ultimate goal of The Jenna Way is to empower others to embrace adventure and live life to the fullest, in the most authentic, inclusive and proudest way.
Through The Jenna Way I share my extensive travel knowledge and increase visibility of LGBTQ+ women in the travel industry.
LGBTQ+ inclusive content has started to improve in recent years. However, there is still a notable lack of LGBTQ+ female representation in main stream marketing and media, despite queer women having a substantial spending power. The Jenna Way seeks to change that.
