Week 11: It’s Electrifying!

After trying (almost) every trade in the industry, I think I have found my true calling as an electrician. There are wires EVERYWHERE and I may start asking people to sign a liability waiver when they enter the flat because there are more floorboard up than down.

Thanks to Ian’s skilful planning and Dad’s excellent teaching, I can run cable between sockets (my head has been under more floorboards than I ever cared it to be) and I have successfully wired my new bathroom spotlights.
In the kitchen, there’s a boiler in place, ready to be connected (thanks Keith) and the first cabinet is level on the wall.

God bless Uncle Ken who came to rescue Mum and I before we threw the corner unit (or ourselves) out the window

If building Ikea furniture is a relationship test, then fitting an entire kitchen with your family is Level: Insane.
Fortunately, we haven’t killed each other (yet)
