Well… 2 weeks of updates in 1 and it’s hard to remember everything that’s happened!
– I HAVE HOT WATER (Thanks Keith )
– The bedroom has transformed from a tool-shed to habitable over a weekend (mum did two coats of paint in a day!
– More floor laying than my destroyed knees can take (But this room lies level!!!)
– I slept in the flat again (on the sofa, I haven’t obtained a bed yet)
– Dad has fitted door and window frames in the bathroom.
– Mum and Dad constructed a window ledge
– There’s a useable cupboard awaiting a washing machine (once I buy one!)
– The kitchen units have finishing panels.
– The oven and hob work! (bye bye microwaveable meals)
All in all, the glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel is getting a little brighter. There are still a lot of tasks to complete but this coming week may be the one where I ACTUALLY move in! Tune in for next week’s update to find out…
