Week 16: Tiling The Bathroom

‘Exhausted’ is no longer a strong enough word to describe our mental and physical being.

I’m not sure I can form full sentences at this point, so this week’s update is in the form of a list and pictures.

  • The toilet has returned (thanks Connor) 🎉

  • I learned how to grout tiles 👌🏽

  • The bathroom floor is complete💎

  • The shower tiles are on the wall😍

  • The sockets WORK (we’ve worked from a single power supply for 100+ days) 💥

  • I built 2 more units 🔨

  • Mum built a pipe box 🔧

  • Dad secured the hallway floor🔩

  • I’ve been to B&Q more times than I care to count.

I also managed to slice both my thumbs on my shower fitting, but don’t worry, the cement from tiling soon sealed them back up again.

Entering October and I’ve got everything crossed that maybe (just maybe) this month I can start living here!
